I began writing poetry in June 2021 and fell in love with it straight away! A newly discovered talent and great feedback from friends led me to decide to start to turn my poems into short story books. I try to include some fun facts or a message in each of my poems too. I began writing poetry in June 2021 and fell in love with it straight away! A newly discovered talent and great feedback from friends led me to decide to start to turn my poems into short story books. I try to include some fun facts or a message in each of my poems too. A poem in a book! I love writing light hearted poetry about anything and everything. From animals, to children, to nature and everyday life. I do hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing!

I write my poems down on scrap bits of paper
Sometimes I leave them and go back to them later
If I get interrupted or have to go out
Or the kids decide to start messing about
I scribble down a line so I don't forget it
As my mind is full of rhyming messages
Then later when everyone's asleep in bed
I type them up on the computer instead!
